Recruitment from Kitook

Kitook Vietnam is a new Online Travel Agency.  Kitook is funded by IDG Ventures Vietnam and is expected to launch in June 2013.
We are looking to fill in following posts, office location: Center District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Head Online Marketing

Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for the marketing strategy and online marketing program
  • Develop marketing strategy, marketing plan and budget
  • Drive evolution of Company selling and marketing platforms (website, mobile applications)
  • Plan, create and execute online marketing campaigns to promote Company’s travel products
  • Identify and negotiate with the key online marketing suppliers and partners
  • Control the output of the different marketing investments and balance the marginal cost per customer across sources (cost per member and conversion rates)
  • Coordinate with design and IT to implement all necessary online tools and means for successful member registry and marketing campaign execution (landing pages, newsletters, banners, etc.)
  • Set up a network of selective affiliate blogs
  • Manage the Company’s social media pages. Drive innovative social media and digital initiatives
  • Organize the Company’s events program
  • Manage member-get-member contests, draws, etc.
  • Defining targets and manage the online marketing team (e.g. editors, programmers, designers)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Responsibility for developing and executing online and offline marketing strategies for consumer brand(s), with demonstrated track-record of successes
  • Experience in successful team leadership
  • Excellent intuition and understanding of the needs, wants, behaviors and psyche of the online customers
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills
  • Track record of managing CPA budget
  • Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese market and culture
  • Very good English language skills

Manager Travel Operations

Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for all travel related operations and services between Company and customers, e.g. booking, payment, customer service
  • Responsible for trouble shooting any issues related to booking, billing and payment
  • Coordinating and working along with employees in providing customer-oriented services to meet customers’ current and future travel needs.
  • Defining, documenting and implementing professional, best-in-class business processes / KPIs for travel operations and monitoring of adherence to rules and guidelines
  • Manage the travel operations team ensuring operational excellence
  • Support hotel sourcing in managing relationships with hotels
  • Train employees on travel-software and travel operations
  • Identify improvements to travel operations system and work with IT to evolve system platform

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Extensive travel operations experience in Vietnam
  • Comprehensive understanding of day-to-day travel operations
  • Excellent understanding of issues faced in post booking
  • Diligence in ensuring that high quality service is provided
  • Very good English language skills

Customer Service Manager

Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage relationships with hotels by providing high levels of customer service and account management support
  • Act as main point of contact with hotels verifying guest information as needed
  • Answer any incoming questions from customers (system, reservations, etc.)
  • Manage customer complaints regarding overbooking and hotel amenities/services in a professional manner resolving the problem through the most effective means possible
  • Liaise with the appropriate departments to gain relevant information, resolve problems, or support
  • Ensure timely follow up with hotels provided through feedback
  • Resolve any issues/complaints that have been detailed on the incoming guest reviews and take appropriate action as needed
  • Ensure that all administration is completed as required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Several years of work experience in a customer facing role handling customer complaints, resolving problems, etc.
  • Call center experience in any industry
  • Hotel / hospitality experience a plus
  • Very good language skills (Vietnamese, English)

Designer

Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver web and mobile design solutions
  • Designing newsletters and banners for online marketing campaigns
  • Edit and improve travel photo shoots in Photoshop
  • Produce collateral to support marketing and advertising sales functions
  • Drive continuous improvement in the aesthetic, quality and response time for visual design

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Several years in a design for a busy website or an agency
  • Proven qualifications in design
  • Knowledge of website coding
  • Favorable consideration would go to candidates who love travel, or have a travel industry background
  • Good English language skills

Web Developer

Areas of Responsibility

  • Write the programming code for website and marketing campaigns based on provided designs
  • Build user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages
  • Test the website and marketing campaigns and identify any technical problems
  • Gathers feedback from design and technical staff on Web site development needs
  • Manage and define technical specifications

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in computer science or engineering
  • Proven experience and track record in website development, software programming and graphics
  • Understanding of HTML, XHTML, PHP, JavaScript and CSS with ability to rapidly learn and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Mobile application development skills for Smartphones would be a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within constraints of timelines and budgets
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good English language skills
