Territorial tensions and the challenges and opportunities presented by the Trans-Pacific Partnership were major topics at this year’s Future of Asia conference, which was organized by Nikkei Inc. and the Japan Center for Economic Research. Political leaders, business chiefs, academics and entrepreneurs from across the region gathered in Tokyo late last month to discuss Asia’s trajectory and mull ways to realize its potential.
